Ana + Erfan | Wedding Reception 11.29.08

I had waited quite a while to capture Ana and Erfan's wedding since their engagement session. Ana is one of my kindest and sweetest clients - I mean, with her own initiative, she advertised me on projectwedding.com (click here) - that was unbelieveable and very sweet of her! She was just wonderful to work for! And of course, them being beautiful couple and the nitty-gritty details about their cultured wedding reception - it excites me even more to shoot their special day!

Sure enough, there are so many details about the day and preparations. Ana especially worked hard with a lot of details and attentions to her wedding day. But that is not what the most important - she was surrounded by loving husband, parents, family and friends celebrating her wedding to Erfan once again here in the US.

Ana and Erfan - I said this before but I thank you for allowing me to capture your special day. You guys rock! I was glad not only because that you include me into your wedding sphere but also to make me one of your friends. I have lots of respect and wish you both the best that marriage life could give anyone! Cheers! :)

Nini + Tom : Engaged

A friend/co-worker of mine just got engaged quite recently and oh my! - her engagement ring is such a piece of art. Her fiance really did a great job picking up the ring :) Amazed at such beauty, I really couldn't resist to pick up my camera and capture its sophisticated look. So with her permission, I'm posting a couple of them here and you be the judge of it.
Ci Nini, I'm happy for you and Tom and thanks for letting me had fun with your amazing ring!

These are my faves from the ring-photo-session :)

Nichole + Joel | Wedding 11.15.08

Nichole's excitement that afternoon was evident as she was getting ready on her big day. She was chattery and happy about getting married to Joel, simply. It was fun watching her spending a good quality time prepping with her mom, sister and friends. You can almost feel wrapped in their closeness that afternoon.

And when you watch Joel together with Nichole, there is a unique sense of their relationship and unspoken care and love toward each other. It was definitely a cool thing to observe for me personally.

I adore Nichole's simple and classic manner that shows into every aspects of her wedding day. It was obvious that she crafted things thoughtfully and with a style. And oh!...the house where Nichole got ready that noon was superb - one of the most artsy house I've ever been to! Special thanks to Mr. Jack and Mrs. for having such an amazing house!

Anyways, Nichole and Joel - just like what Nichole's dad mentioned in his speech, I do hope and things will just get better and sweeter onward. Congratulations again and I wish a lifetime of happiness to you guys both! Cheers...

Picture time! :)

I love the colors in this room! What a treat for me...

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

The night gets darker but before I lay my head to sleep - I want to take time to be grateful.

I'm thankful for church, friends, family, a job. Also, being able to pick up my camera and shoot more - brings joy in my heart.

And, most importantly, I'm grateful for Joe, my fiance and future husband. Hunny, I eternally grateful to God for bringing someone like you in my life. You set the coast clear from the beginning and told me that you were looking for a wife. And from that point onward - there were no games, no guessing with you. Your clear commitment to me and God captured my heart. You see, the moment you walked in to my life, my life was changed. I'm happiest with you and looking forward to our future together. I love you.

Trisha + Ricky | Wedding 11.08.08

I had the honor of photographing Trisha and Ricky's wedding early this month with my friend Jacob.

Trisha must be one of the most talented brides I've ever met. She's petite and gorgeous - did her own make up (beautifully, I might add), sang fantastically (her vow to Ricky - at the ceremony) and danced with a style (at the reception)! Not to mention that her occupation is a profession that I know I probably can't do as a girl :) Such a well-rounded girl.

And the groom himself - from the testimonies I heard all day from his friends and family, is nothing short of amazing as well. A great guy overall. But most importantly - Ricky's tender love to his bride is just obvious. What a lovely couple.

Some say that when two people marry, their families are also marrying each other. In Trisha and Ricky's case - their family are marrying each other very well. There are much love and respects toward one another. What a great testimony.

Onto the rest of the photos:
