Love is...

As I am writing this, my husband is preparing our Valentine's special dinner in the kitchen on top of our outing/early Valentine's dinner date last Thursday. What he's cooking - I have no idea, he said that it's a surprise. See, I am not usually big on celebrating Valentine - it's just that I think that love should be expressed everyday and in many different ways. But I guess I wouldn't mind celebrating Valentine's day with the man I love the most :) Ah, love is sweet to me today (and yummy!)

Whether you are single or in a relationship or married or whatever life stages you are in - I just want to wish you a lot of love! And don't forget to tell people you love that you love them, today and anytime possible.

"This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins." - 1 John 4:10

Happy Valentine's Day!

Sara + Okoth {Boulder Esession}

It was a cold winter day in Colorado when I had the chance to meet Sara for a second time - this time, for an engagement session. Although the sun was out earlier that day, it was still so cold - but that's Colorado weather for you. However, I enjoyed getting to know them better in person and through my camera.

Sara and Okoth met each other for the first time during a trip in the mountains a couple years ago and from there, their love story grew and the rest is history. They are going to tie the knot this coming July in Denver.

A gorgeous Colorado scenery - Sara had expressed to me that she would love a mountain/nature setting for their photo session and I suggested the Chautauqua Park in Boulder that has beautiful mountains in the background. And it was perfect!

Sara and Okoth have a baby girl together, Sophia - she is such a cute thing! Well because of this reason, why not include her in the photo session, right? :)

After a few shots, poor baby cried because of the cold and mommy was trying to comfort her. I love these shots of them here.

Aww! Cute little legs and shoes!

Once the family shots were done, I then jumped right back in photographing the love birds...

Such a beautiful lady! I know that she will be a glowing bride on her wedding day! :)

Love these ones!

I think they look so cute together!

Sara, Okoth, thanks for being such great troopers in the cold. I am looking forward to your wedding day in July! - I know that it's going to be beautiful! :)

Happy Friday!

As the end of the week is quickly approaching - I am left with a feeling of thankfulness of getting my health back. The bright side of it is that I wasn't alone 'cuz Joe is fighting this flu along with me. Goodness, we even shared hot cups of Theraflu for a couple of nights! Sounds romantic...NOT! ;)

Anyways, while I am not one who usually just follows the latest fad - a couple weeks ago one of my wonderful clients and friend sent me an email, offering to start a Fan Page for me on Facebook. How sweet of her, right!! :) For the longest time, I wasn't sure if I want or should to do that - as I don't feel like I'm worthy enough to have a "fan page". But she talked me into it and I finally told her that I will have one up soon. So I got my act together and set one up. If you're compelled to join, you can click on my Facebook badge on the right. But if not, that's totally cool! I won't hold it against you ;)

So much for that... onto a more photo-related news, I did an engagement session recently for Sara and Okoth in Boulder - so here's a teaser for now. I will post more photos next week.

Have a great weekend Ya'll!! :)
