Piya + Trevor: Wedding 12.31.07 (Part One)

Here we are embarking on the wedding of the year! Wedding day + New Year's Eve Party = coolness!

Piya and Trevor definitely had it going on their day - 'twas an awesome party topped with some lavish details in Biltmore Millenium Hotel in downtown LA. I have never seen a more independent bride as Piya before - she did her own make-up and hair, did most of her her wedding-organizing by herself and still managed to stay graceful and collected. This must be that actress in her that train her to still keep her cool in the midst of big occasions such as this. The groom looks quite calm and content being able to marry the woman of his life. This sweet couple definitely can't hide the love they share with each other.

Oh, did I mention about the extravagant details? The Vera Wang dress, the Manolo Blahnik shoes (Note: It's Sarah Jessica Parker shoe-wears in Sex and the City), the beautiful cathedral and not to mention the tall-wedding-cake-that-looks-like-a-mini-Eiffel-tower. All kinds of fabulousness! The couple also swapped their white dress + suit onto the gorgeous Indian wardrobe halfway through the party. Simply stunning!

What a great honor and opportunity for me to be able to shoot this wedding. Congratulations Piya and Trevor, I wish nothing but endless years of happiness. Cheers!

A Tad Bit Late But...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! :) I thank God for the year that has just passed by and hope for the best for the new year ahead to all of us!

I had the honor to join my friends Jacob and Jonilyn to partake in a wedding on New Year's Eve. It was a 13+ hours straight of camera work but it was worth it! The wedding was fabulous and the bride was simply beautiful and elegant. I promise to share the pictures later.

Anyhow, on a more personal note of my New Year's day: I had the chance to meet up with my longtime dear friend and prior roomie (in Maryland), Venny, on the first day of New Year. We had some Korean Bbq for lunch in Korean Town and proceeded to hang out at The Grove. It was the first time I've been there in two years I'm here in California. Such a nice location with pretty lights! I definitely would love to go there again sometime soon just to walk around and whatnot. Per Venny's request - I brought my camera along to take pictures of her and my mom - just thought I'd post a few here :)
