Leary "Ade" and Dodi: Wedding 11.25.07 (Part One)

(This is such a long overdue post since I've been so busy in this holiday seasons; some things just a little hectic - however, I'm trying to get back on track now :)

This was another wedding I shot back in November. Ade and Dodi held their ceremony in Highlands, California and their reception in Hyatt of West Coast Plaza. They are such inseparable sweet couple - I sensed this since the beginning when I shot their engagement session in early November. Their wedding day was undoubtedly beautiful. I absolutely love the details/vibrant color of the traditional Indonesian dresses the bride and bridesmaids wore (during the reception hours - which I will post more later.) A perfect weather day, a beautiful couple and a festive party made up a well-round wedding day. Anyhow, enough of my rambling - onto the pictures now! :)

Grace and Peter - A Month After...

I had the privilege of shooting Grace and Peter this past Sunday with Jacob and Jonilyn for their "Trash The Dress" session in Simi Valley. This newlywed couple just got hitched last month and their post-wedding happiness is evident. A pair of good looking couple and this great location up in the Canyon - I couldn't ask for more. We were up for some serious hike that afternoon for sure. And I wasn't really prepared for the hike yet we all made it happen and got some cool shots. So, without further ado - here are a few photos from that day:

Autumn Foliage

(I know this might be a tad bit late to post about the beauty of the Fall foliage but I just can't help it! :) Anyways...)

One of the biggest things I miss by not being in the East Coast anymore is the trees. There is nothing compares to seeing that lush green colors turning to vibrant hue of leaves during Autumn. Today, after being in California for almost two years - my Aunt brought me and my (visiting) mom to Santa Fe Dam recreation park for the first time to have this little picnic. Unbeknownst to me, this park displays a small glimpse of that beauty I've been longing for. It made me go uhh-ahh. What a pretty view! And am so glad to bring my camera with me :) Now who said that California doesn't have Fall foliage? ;)
