I had a special opportunity to photograph this sweet, talented, handsome young man that just graduated not too long ago. Mitchell's session was easy and heartwarming and fun all around. We got to use a couple props that Mitchell decided to bring along to get a feel of who they are or representing what they are passionate about or like to do. We picked a park to shoot at and also right by a lake in Loveland. Gorgeous views by the lake at the end and I was so blessed to be able to create these images for him and his family, especially the fact that I also photograph Mitchell's older brother Ryne years ago when he also graduated from HS. I am thankful and definitely enjoyed spending time with Mitchell and his mom/younger sister that came along that afternoon :) Congratulations to Mitchell of completing High School! Wish you blessings and tons of fun in your days ahead!!
I first had the honor of documenting Elena and Mohammed's love story last Fall when I photographed their engagement photoshoot and their wedding day here in Colorado. This lovely couple met online when they both lived in different countries several years back. Talk about a long distant relationship! Elena then went overseas to be with Mohammend. Things blossomed between them and the rest is a beautiful history.
Their special day was nothing short of perfection. Everything was crafted so beautifully, the day was celebrated with joy and affections with their loved ones. I loved watching these two different individuals, with different cultures and from different countries of origin are joining their lifes together to create their own unique journey. Elena and Mohammed, thank you for the honor of creating these images for the both of you. I really enjoy working with you and your family as always. I want to wish you all the happiness and love in the world as you navigate life as one! (wherever life will take you next!) Here are just several of my faves from their wedding day - please enjoy.
I was especially excited to find out that my sweet, young friend Cambria was engaged not too long ago. It doesn't seem like that long ago that I had trained her to assist me on wedding days while she was still in High School. Then she went on to College to pursue her dream to become a teacher and met the love of her life there. I still remember one conversation I had with her several years ago about how she was happy being single and looking forward to go to college and not worry about having a boyfriend ;) It was all happening so fast, I can hardly believe it... but I couldn't be more proud of her of the beautiful woman she has blossomed into! and the fact that I have the privilege of documenting her big day just weeks ago.
Cambria and Andrew's wedding day was so heartfelt and beautiful - these two are just meant for each other. One thing that struck me was the involvement of family and friends in their lifes and courtship. It was a reflection of a blessing of God's in two lives molded into one. Everything came together just so wonderfully - a lot of tears and laughter and love and pure joy. I just loved that day. Such a beautiful wedding day and a special couple! Here a couple images of them from that special day to share - please enjoy! xo
I could have not more thrilled when this very sweet couple asked to photograph their wedding (even when it means that I had to cut my two-months long vacation short), simply because this was my first international wedding to date. Irene is a friend that I've known for sometime now and she's just a lovely lady to know. David is, just like the stereotype Canadian - a gentleman and very polite man :) Such beautiful couple! I was so glad to be able to witness their union and being able to capture the beauty that unfolds during that day. I had to add that working with them and their family did not feel like I was working - everyone was super friendly and they made me feel like I was part of the family. Thank you so much Dave and Irene. Here are several pics to share from their wedding day - hope you guys enjoy! xx
I was super stoked to be photographing this new sweet baby boy (and had a chance to hold him in my arms) :) He was born premature at 36 weeks but thankfully he is quite healthy and absolutely perfect. I could not be happier for my friends Mena and Nikolaj for this new addition to their beautiful family and look forward to be seeing this tiny baby grow each time! <3
I love it that the Spring weather is upon us and warmer days are here. And recently I had the privilege photographing this lovely couple David and Irene as they had just got engaged not too long ago. So excited to be photographing their wedding this Summer!
I am so slow lately in updating my posts, but just want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year and blessed days onward!
Talking about a post update, I've been wanting to share this awesome Engagement Photo Session I had the opportunity shooting for Elena and Mohammed just right before Winter started. And Golden is such a gorgeous little area with beautiful nature - parks, pretty trails, colorful trees. Love it! And these two love birds are just kind, sweet couple. I was glad to have this moment to work with them--who are great sport about taking pictures, by the way and get to know them a bit more. I also need to mention that Elena grew up dancing, so we had some awesome time trying incorporate some of her beautiful, graceful dance moves into the pictures. Love it!!
That being said, please check out some of my faves and I am definitely looking forward to photographing their wedding this year in July!
Jacqueline is my new friend in town - she and her family just moved to Colorado from Texas not too long ago. I first met her at our mutual friend's house one evening and we clicked since I had also lived in Texas for a little bit a long time ago. Long story short, I was delighted when she booked me to do a family photo session for her. She requested a little Western feel to her photoshoot (which is appropriate!) and we decided to go to this cute local area with farm settings. I had such a fun time with them and their little Ryder has such an adorable smile! :) What a precious family!
